Isabel von Bernstorff, Klavier
Isabel von Bernstorff, geboren in Bad Hersfeld, studierte bei Prof. Georg Sava in Berlin und bei Prof. Rainer Hoffmann in Frankfurt (Klavierkammermusik und Liedbegleitung). Bereits während des Studiums konzertierte sie als Solistin und Kammermusikerin u.a. in der Philharmonie Berlin, in New York, im Libanon, in Ägypten und in Bahrain.
Rundfunkproduktionen fanden mit dem Deutschland Radio Kultur, Deutschlandfunk, NDR Kultur, dem Bayerischen und dem Hessischen Rundfunk statt.
Isabel von Bernstorff wurde von 2003-2008 von Yehudi Menuhin „Live Music Now“ gefördert. 2006 war sie Preisträgerin des Frankfurter Lenzewski-Wettbewerbs und
des Kammermusikwettbewerbs der Polytechnischen Gesellschaft. Im selben Jahr wurde sie in der Kategorie „Klavierpartner“ mit dem Stipendium des Deutschen Musikwettbewerbes ausgezeichnet. 2008 erhielt sie gemeinsam mit der Klarinettistin Antonia Lorenz erneut das Stipendium des Deutschen Musikwettbewerbs und wurde außerdem als Duo mit dem Zonta Musikpreis 2008 ausgezeichnet.
Im Februar 2012 erschien ihre CD „Cosmopolitan“ mit dem Trio Elego bei GENUIN classics.
Seit 2006 hat Isabel von Bernstorff einen Lehrauftrag an der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt/Main inne.

Curriculum vitae
Isabel von Bernstorff has been accepted as a scholarship holder of the German Music Competition 2008 in the series of “Concerts with Young Artists” for the prize winners organized by the German Music Council. Furthermore, along with Antonia Lorenz (clarinet,) she was honoured with the Zonta Music Award in 2008.
During her studies at the “Hanns Eisler” Music Academy in Berlin and now, during her postgraduate studies in piano chamber music/lieder accompaniment at the Music Academy of Frankfurt and the Performing Arts Isabel von Bernstorff has pursued on an intense career as a concert musician. After completing her studies in Berlin and Frankfurt, she began studying chamber music at the Alban Berg Quartet at the Music Academy of Cologne from summer 2007 to summer 2008.
Isabel von Bernstorff has played in various concerts in Germany and abroad with numerous solo and chamber music performances, among others with the “Junges Ensemble Berlin” in the Chamber Music Hall attached to the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, at the invitation of the Goethe Institut in Cairo and Alexandria, in Lebanon, at the Bahrain Music Festival and in cooperation with the Juilliard School at the New Yorker World Financial Center.
She has been involved in radio productions in cooperation with Deutschland Radio Kultur, Deutschlandfunk, NDR Kultur and Bayerischer Rundfunk.
Her musical mentors include artists such as Rainer Hoffmann, Herbert Seidel, Eugen Wangler, Angelika Merkle, Georg Sava, Wolfram Rieger and the Alban-Berg-Quartet.
Isabel von Bernstorff has won the “Jugend musiziert” prize on several occasions and was promoted by the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation “Live Music Now” from 2003 to 2008. In 2006 she won the Frankfurt Lenzewski Competition and the Chamber Music Competition held by Frankfurt’s Polytechnische Gesellschaft. She was also honoured with a scholarship of the German Music Competition 2006 and could be heard in a series of more than 50 prize winner concerts “Concerts with Young Artists” in the season 2007/2008 all over Germany.
That same year she was appointed to teach musical coaching by the Frankfurt Academy of Music and the Performing Arts.
